APPLYING A NICKNAME

  • Preview color codes above. Each code requires & Infront of it.

To apply a nickname, do /nick <nick name>, without color codes.

To apply a nickname with vanilla color codes, you need to do /nick &<color code><text>.

For example, let's say you wanted your nickname to be "Test", but half Light Red, and half Light Blue(aqua). You would do /nick &cTe&bst. Every color code needs the & symbol!

This would look like this in-game:

APPLYING A NICKNAME WITH HEX COLOR CODES

Hex color codes are one type of HTML color code that you’ll often hear referred to as hexadecimal color or hex.

To apply a hex color code, you will need to use the format &#123abc.

Before you set your nickname, consider using a RGB/Gradient Generator site to get your hex color codes. We highly recommend https://www.birdflop.com/resources/rgb/.

  1. Enter your nickname in the Input Text Section.

  2. Click the text inside the Output section.

  3. Do /nick in-game and then ctrl+v to paste.

Using the example image below, you would of done the command:

/nick &#691A1AT&#583440e&#464E66s&#35698Dt&#2383B3i&#129DD9n&#00B7FFg

If you would like a simpler nickname, like one without a colored gradient, use a site such as https://htmlcolorcodes.com/color-picker/ to find a color of your choice.
